BASTROP COUNTY, TEXAS - The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office said Friday it is looking for a Mercedes that might be related to the murder of Amber Taylor.

Authorities said they are looking for a black 2003 Mercedes-Benz C230K sedan with Texas license plate FKR-6345. The sheriff’s office said the vehicle has faded paint on the hood, a crack on the passenger side of the windshield, a driver’s side front window that is missing or has been recently been replaced, and minor rear bumper damage.

Taylor, 28, was found in the intersection of FM 535 and Wolf Lane around 4:45 a.m. Monday. An autopsy performed Tuesday showed she died from a gunshot wound, and the sheriff's office believe her death was drug related.

The Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office believes Taylor was in this vehicle when she was murdered. Anyone who has seen the vehicle or its occupants since Oct. 30 is asked to contact the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office at 512-549-5100. If anyone locates the vehicle, the sheriff’s office asks you do not approach it and call 911.
